# PDFBIZZ administrator account setup

1. Deploy the application and confirm registration works over HTTPS.
2. Register your own account using the intended administrator email address.
3. Open cPanel → phpMyAdmin and select the PDFBIZZ database.
4. Run this SQL, replacing the email with the exact email used during registration:

```sql
UPDATE users
SET role = 'admin'
WHERE email = 'your-admin-email@example.com'
LIMIT 1;
```

5. Sign out and sign in again. Visit `/admin`.
6. Confirm that a normal registered account cannot access `/admin`.

Do not use a publicly accessible installer to create administrators. Public registration must always assign the `user` role.
